Popular western style shape is popular with Fly Fishermen throughout America. Made from Raffia straw, a hand picked broad palm found only in Madagascar. Raffia is an exceptionally high quality straw. The hat bodies are handwoven in Madagascar and hand finished here in the U.S. Excellent sun protection comes from the dense Raffia weave and the large 3" brim. Band is trimmed with cotton webbing. Sweat material is our own 100% cotton twill. Treated for water resistance.
