Estimate Shipping Costs

Domestic Shipping Information (Please read carefully).
All orders are generally shipped from our shipping center in Portland, Maine within 24-48 hours of receipt. Our goal is to deliver your package within 5 - 7 working days. Normally, we will ship the same day we receive your order and you should receive your package within 3-4 working days. While we love packing packing and shipping your orders, we are a M-F business and do not work 24/7 picking and packing orders. However....we are a small family run business and every once in a while, we get swamped with orders for no apparent reason and get behind. In this case, we pull everyone together to help pack orders and take care of the backlog.

Keep in mind, a 5 - 7 working days delivery time is our goal. If you need your order sent as right away, please tell us and we will put you ahead of the line. The United States Postal Service (USPS) package delivery service is generally very good, but please keep in mind that once we hand your package to the USPS, it is anybody's guess when you will receive it. We do not guarantee any specific delivery service through the USPS. Please allow up to seven days for delivery of your package though it will generally arrive sooner than that. Express shipping by FedEx or UPS is available. Please specify if you need expedited shipping.

Most of our U.S. orders are shipped by USPS Priority or First Class Mail, depending on weight and destination. All packages to Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico are shipped by Priority Mail. This service normally takes 3-4 business days for delivery plus handling time (2-3 days).

Packages weighing 13oz. or less are shipped by First Class Mail. First Class Mail can take 3-7 days. UPS ground services are available by request at no additional cost.

The USPS offers confirmation of delivery date and time for 1st Class and Priority Mail packages at no additional charge. Please note that this is not a delivery tracking service, only a confirmation service.

If you need the hat for a trip or a special event, please let us know by phone or e-mail for express services. Additional costs may apply.

International Shipping
Quaker Marine Supply Company is happy to ship to most international addresses to include the UK, Europe, Mexico, Asia, Australia, and South America. International Shipping Rates apply and are determined by package weight. We use USPS International First Class service. Keep in mind that Quaker Marine has no control over packages once they enter a foreign country. We have had excellent success with deliveries to international addresses using the U.S. Postal Service. Express delivery is available upon request at higher cost. Contact us and we will quote you a price. Please be aware that the buyer is responsible for all duties and customs fees in country.

Shipping to Canada
We are able to ship to every address in Canada's ten provinces. There is no additional charge for shipping to Canada unless express service is requested. USPS Air Letter Post takes 5-7 business days. Please note that the buyer is responsible for all duties and customs fees (if any).

Military Shipping
We are able to ship packages to most military addresses. Please be sure your address is accurate. Lost shipments to military addresses may not be traceable.

Order Processing
Orders are processed Monday through Friday and are normally shipped shipped within 24-48 hours of receiving your order. Orders received after 10am Friday are shipped the following Monday. Our goal is to get you your package within 5 - 7 working days. We are a M-F business and do not work 24/7 picking and packing orders. If you need your order sent as right away, please tell us and we will put you ahead of the line. We do not ship on the weekend. If we are out of stock, a backorder (see below) will be created and you will be notified.

Backorders
A backorder occurs when we are out of stock of a specific hat size or color at the time you place your order. We will advise you of the backorder and offer you the option of waiting for your order to arrive later or canceling it altogether and refunding your money. Some items are seasonal and we may be out of stock for the season. No one is ever happy when a backorder occurs, but it does happen from time to time. We will do our best to keep you informed on the status of a back order.
