This belt is crafted from cognac brown vegetable-tanned leather that is whip-stitched with red and blue waxy cord in a pattern popularized by Argentine polo players. But it looks just as good (maybe better?) out of the saddle. In our case, we like the whip-stitching because it reminds us of the whipping used to prevent the ends of boat lines from fraying.
The belt is 1 3/8” wide and features a brass buckle. The vegetable-tanned leather will improve with age and the waxy cord takes on subtle gradations.
Pair it with any of our pants to add a bit of color to an outfit.
