A lesser known alternative to the almighty Aperol Spritz, this northern Italian aperitif is perfectly refreshing and easy to make. Mix equal parts of dry white vermouth (or white wine), Campari, and a splash of soda; stir, sip, repeat.

The Normandy Fisherman’s Jacket is an easy one to keep by the door all summer. Toss it on over a tee for the walk back from the beach, or wear it into town when the breeze picks up. Cut from sturdy cotton canvas with roomy pockets and an easy pullover fit, it’s casual, useful, and built to hang around for years.

Shrimp Ceviche

A staple from the coasts of Peru and Mexico to Ecuador and beyond, and for good reason — it's essentially summer on a plate. Bright citrus, cool seafood, and just enough heat to wake everything up. It’s light, refreshing, and easy to make at home. Enjoy with a Corona.

The Breton Stripe Boatneck Tee is my summer pick for easy, seaside-minded wear. It comes in a run of new colors this season, with Chambray/Sea being my favorite.

Zuma by Neil Young and Crazy Horse

The well-acquainted know the deal. Neil Young and Crazy Horse's 1975 album is a hazy car drive down the Pacific Coast Highway. Its perfect blend of jangle and force that I always come back to at the start of Summer. Ethan gave me a vinyl copy for our office secret Santa last year which is about to get a lot of airtime at home.

We nailed it. Not too beefy, and definitely not delicate; the new McKay tee gets the summer-weight t-shirt right. I am happy to have all 3 of our standard colors in my wardrobe but the salt washed version is on the next level.
