The Bateau sweater references a vintage Quaker Marine Supply sweater from the 70s that we've kept in our archives until now.
The original sweater was knit from a coarse wool that was typical of the period (think Grandpa's closet), so we updated it in a jacquard knit cotton that is exceedingly comfortable, yet durable enough to serve you well in all conditions.
