Reviving The Tortuga With Mikey DeTemple

A once-beloved hit from the QMS archive, revived! Our friend and collaborator Mikey DeTemple found a vintage Tortuga on eBay while on the search for the perfect full-brimmed hat for sailing Montauk and shooting editorials. He made a compelling case for us to bring this retro style back with an update for 2023.

To make sure our new version was up to snuff, Mikey strapped on his special-edition butter yellow Tortuga for a sunset sail around Montauk aboard his gaff-rigged sloop "Ripple", and had his pal Drew Maloney document the sea-trial.
