This year, the QMS team gathered for our holiday lunch at Bamonte’s, a Williamsburg institution that’s been serving the neighborhood since 1900. Still family-owned and operated today, Bamonte’s is a rarity that feels increasingly special. Originally opened as a banquet hall by Pasquale Bamonte after immigrating from Salerno, Italy, the space has been welcoming long tables and lively gatherings for well over a century. The room itself carries that history effortlessly — white tablecloths, low light, and the steady hum of conversation. We settled in over generous plates of classic Italian-American fare, the kind meant to be shared and passed around. Between courses, stories flowed as easily as the wine. Another local spot, another afternoon well spent, and one more tradition we’re happy to keep.
